PERSONALITY:
aeretheryn did not always act harshly to races other than her own. over the years, her heart has hardened and nearly turned to stone. she once believed that there was good in everyone, and that the good deeds you perform will come back around. that was not the case, as she quickly learned. as a young elf, aereth was trusting and really did believe that the humans would not take advantage of their home, their lush forests and their kindness.
when the humans did the opposite, and started chopping down trees and wasting precious resources, aereth followed suit with her father's distaste for the humans. she began to grow bitter and eventually disliked any human she saw, whether she knew them or not. old habits and attitudes die hard, and she has yet to meet a human that has changed her views.
aereth can be calm, though she can also be quick to anger if pushed the right way. she will stand up for what she believes is right, and what she believes is the best decision for her kingdom. even though some of the people of her kingdom drive her mad, she will put them above anything else, even herself. that is, of course, if she is given the choice. most political matters fall to her brother, although she does give her opinion every so often.
being cooped up in the castle is not something aeretheryn finds appealing, so she will often divulge in miniature adventures, never straying too far from her familiar home. aereth is quite social and loves spending the day with those she calls her friends. however, it is quite hard to be considered a friend. since she has grown so guarded, she is wary of who she lets into her life.

HISTORY:aereth grew up in a loving, albeit very strict family. being the daughter of the king comes with great responsibilities. she was always taken care of whenever she was sick, she was tutored by the best and the brightest of the elves. while her brother was taught most of the political parts of being an heir, aereth was taught how to be a proper lady and to always be respectable and courteous. her family was always quite caring to the needs of others and would often help the other races whenever they needed it.

EXTRA INFO: like most elves, aereth is very adept at communicating with nature. she is in tune with all of the elements and can even control them. she can talk to the trees and plants, as well as aid them in their growth. as for wind, she can summon small gusts to push objects toward or away from her, as well as use it to her advantage to gain speed when running. water is her next priority, which she can conjure from the moisture in the air. she can form the moisture into a ball and splash it over things, mostly to help water plants. she can summon fire to her finger, which she then uses to light up dark areas, or even perhaps burn someone in defense. most of her powers are for good, and she very rarely uses them for offense. aereth also has the ability to heal wounds. the most she can do is heal a fractured limb.
aereth has been trained for combat, though she prefers not to use her tactics. she can be seen practicing in private, sometimes, so that her skills stay with her. she has been trained to use a bow and arrows, as well as daggers and even a sword. she prefers speed and agility over power and strength.
